2010-2013
This isn't even remotely related to my research. I just can't get enough of these birds!

From my research on the 15th century figural alphabet (even though this is somewhat unrelated). I'm in heaven...
"Inspiration" GIF for class
This Terrain photo spread of their indigo collection has been on my desktop for a while. I think that means it's worthy of a place here.
Wow I'm actually posting back to back inspiration today - that never happens! I just couldn't wait to share these stunning black and white photos of old (and nearly empty!) New York that my boyfriend found for me a bit ago. Sorry all the captions are in Russian, but that shouldn't matter since these photos speak for themselves. Some of the nighttime images even look a bit like my night photos of Chicago, don't they? (Images taken from http://www.diletant.ru/articles/4993340/)

This and Rauschenberg's various untitled, color-based combine paintings were the inspiration for me to create my own combine painting with newspaper, paint, and "cloth" in 2010. This 5 footer of mine is currently somewhere in my parents' basement. Check back for photos if it can be unearthed.
